Modern Handmade Craft Show
Here is a flyer for the craft show I am doing on November 6th! It truly will be like Etsy coming to life. If you are in the Northern Kentucky area, you won't want to miss this! Plus your $2 admission goes straight to the Women's Crisis Center in Hebron :)

My little model
Life in general has been so busy lately! My daughter started kindergarten this year, she is in two dance classes a week and just finished up her first (and probably last) season of soccer. I work while she is in school and when she isn't, I juggle doing work from home along with personal work for myself and general mom/wife duties :)
Recently, I have been working a lot on different plaques, canvases and whatever else i can come up with to sell, not only in my etsy shop, but in local businesses and craft fairs too. ...more about this later!
Today, I was trying to take some nice photos of a canvas that I completed a week or two ago. The sun was shining in the back of our house, I had some fabric and things set up for a nice backdrop and I was ready to take pictures. My daughter, who is 5, dashes out of the room in a hurry and comes back in less than 2 minutes dressed in the first princess costume she could find. She waits around (patiently, I might add) for me to finish snapping pictures and when i am finished she proceeds to sit in the exact spot that I had been photographing the canvas. She looks up at me and says, "Aren't you going to take pictures of me, mom?"
How could I say no?! So she starts posing and smiling at the camera and I snap a few pics. She is really big into the whole modeling thing and really knows how to "ham it up" for the camera. See the pics below :)
Words can not express the feelings that I have for my little girl and pictures can't capture it either but I'm glad she likes being photographed because one day she will be all grown up and I hope to look back and remember exactly how I felt at these moments in time :)
